Shchi (Cabbage soup)


4 cups meat broth; 17,6ozs (500g) cabbage; 2 carrots; 1 root of parsley or celery; 2 onions; 3 potatoes; 2-3 tomatoes; 2 tbsp. butter (olive oil); 4 tbsp. sour cream; salt, spice to taste.

This soup tastes rich without any added cream. Chopped cabbage put into boiled broth, after 5-7 minutes put chopped potatoes. Boil 10-15 minutes. Fry the chopped onions, carrots and roots into 2 tbsp of melted butter (olive oil). Put all other ingredients before soup is ready. Serve with sour cream. Have a nice dinner!
